Programming for shot put and discus from beginner to advanced athletes

Don Babbitt is currently the Associate Head Track & Field Coach at the University of Georgia, with a special emphasis in the throws. He has served in this role for the past 26 years, and is in his 38^th year of coaching. He has also been the CSCS Editor for the throwing events for World Athletics since 2010. As a coach he had guided 53 athletes in major international competitions in all four throwing disciplines. These athletes have gone on to win 21 medals. The most notable of these athletes are 2004 Olympic Shot Put Champion, Adam Nelson, and 2007 World Outdoor Shot Put Champion, Reese Hoffa.
